Granma's refrigerator
I always thought it would be neat to have some special magnets for Audrey.
I wanted something big enough that she wouldnt put them in her mouth, something colorful and something she could learn from. About all I could ever find were those little "alphabet" magnets. Well everyone has those, so I went to the store that I thought might have something that fit the bill.
"ABC Toys" at Miracle mile. I found this great set of magnets, it included farm animals, sea animals and zoo animals. It's perfect! Audrey love to play with them. She will remove all the magnets one by one handing them to me and waiting for me to name the animal. Then I hand them back and she replaces them on the fridge. It's a fun game, and it keeps her busy for awhile. Tonight we played "magnets" I love watching her little face as she seriously and strategically places each magnets just in the right place.

You are so sweet to sit and play 'magnets' with Audrey, I'm sure that makes her night! Such a fun Grandma. Those magnets are pretty cool.
It seems like Audrey might take after her great unclerick and cousin Megan...everything has to be just so. there is a system for everything. we know where things go, and we know how many lines are in the road from kasson to byron. we make things perfectly straight, we count, and we have to have things in a routine otherwise it just feels wrong. It's got to be an Erickson gene. She's so sweet! i can't wait to see her again...and maybe i can play magnets with her!
