We had little Audrey today from nap time till Bedtime.

Nap time... didn't go so well

Audrey likes her own crib and hasn't ever been too fond of sleeping at Grandma's house in her mamma's old crib. Today she actually seemed quite terrified to be left in the bedroom she's not so familiar with. So being the Grandma that I am, I quickly rescued her and suggested WE take a nap in grandma's bed.

She actually did fall asleep and I was able to sneak away, only to here her sweet little voice sadly saying, "granma.....granma" 20 minutes into her nap

Well that was just enough to recharge her,

but I insisted that we REST for an hour before we can get up form our "nap".

The rest of the day involved.....

PLAYING with toys

Driving cars over grandpa's leg

Telling grandpa important matters

Combing Granpa's hair with barbies brush (the yellow one)

Putting shoes on the barbies with grandpa

Playing barbies with grandma

She did really well for having almost no nap at all and being stuck in the house all day because of the rain. We ended the day by tucking our sweet Audrey into bed just before her mommy & daddy arrived home from a wedding.

Audrey is such a joy, we love spending time with her and feel so blessed to have her close by.
